Under Vehicle Surveillance System

VBISS has redesigned the UVSS Model 6L-U and improved its overall functionality, the ease of installation and operation, but more importantly, enhancing the purpose for which it is intended: To provide real-time and unusually sharp images of the underside of vehicles driving over the inspection ramp.

For six years now we have been selling Under Vehicle Surveillance Systems to the United States Armed Forces as well as government agencies in Europe and in the United States.

A newly developed stick-and-lock function permits the camera modules, light modules and ramp covers to be installed and/or replaced in the ramp without tools. This patently user-friendly feature makes replacing a camera module, light module or ramp cover a snap, reduces non-operational time, shortens repair time and lowers maintenance cost.

The redesign permits easier installation of the UVSS ramp and effectively reinforced its stability. The ramp is simply recessed into a cut-out in any type of road surface and extends above the ground by only a few inches.
The directional adjustments of the cameras and lighting modules, or the removal of their protective covers may be done by the system operator without the use of any type of tools.
